About Reflexology. IMAGE OF FOOT

More than just a foot massage - Using the feet to treat the whole body.

Reflexology -A popular choice of complementary therapy.

It is estimated that 75% of disease is stress related, reflexology relieves stress and tension and has a deeply relaxing effect. Approximately 7000 nerves are stimulated by reflexology massage. It improves blood circulation, increasing the efficiency of all organs and cells.

By locating and massaging the Reflexology points on your foot, hand, or face which relate to the different parts of the body, the whole body can be re-tuned and the body brought back into balance, helping the body work more efficiently which in turn improves waste removal and elimination and activates the body's self-healing.

The list below are just some of the benefits of reflexology:

    Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any age restrictions for Reflexology?
No, reflexology is for all ages, from birth onwards. I would adapt the timing session for a baby/child, which is normally shorter than an adult session.

Can you have reflexology if pregnant?
Yes, reflexology is safe to use during normal pregnancy and can help to support you emotionally and physically during your journey encouraging the body and mind to relax. Treatments will be adapted for pregnant clients and we can discuss any concerns you have.

What if I am unsure whether my feet can be used due to injury/illness/disease?
If there is a reason why the foot cannot be treated then I can adapt and use the hand or face, using both a foot/hand and face where required. Some clients prefer for their hands to be worked rather than their feet or a mixture of face and feet/hand.

Reflexology is recognised as a complementary therapy by many private health providers. Check your policy for details and book your reflexology appointment today!
